Manual Hydraulic Multiplier Scv Splitter Valve
I just got a Fasse hydraulic multiplier so I can run the swing and header tilt on a JD 835 moco. I have it connected directly to the scv on the tractor with the supplied fittings. The problem is I have leakback through the Fasse and coming out around the scv port and the drain tube. I thought maybe the fittings weren't aligned with the scv right so adjusted that to no effect.
HYDRAULIC MULTIPLIER KIT. Read and thoroughly understand tractor and implement or attachment owner's manual before installing or operating this valve. Escaping hydraulic fluid under pressure can have. From the 4 in 1 bucket or grapple assembly should be connected to the C3 and C2 ports on the diverter valve.
But it will leak back even when the circuit is turned off. I know the tractor valve is not leaking back.
Manual Hydraulic Multiplier
I am thinking about mounting the Fasse valve on the moco and running flexible lines to the tractor so it won't be so rigid. Anyone else have any experience/ideas as to the leak back problem? I have had issues with the orings leaking with the weight of the valve hanging on them. If you are only going to be using them on the MoCO then mounting it on the mower will more than likely solve your issue.
Also you can try using a tarp strap to take some of the weight off the coupler and it may quit leaking. I have seen guys make a mounting bracket that holds the value straight into the SCV valve and that works too. I thought that the Fasse valve setup would be great to multiply SCVs on tractors. I have not had great luck with them though. The main issue I have had is that if you have a heavy load on the hydraulics the popits valves stick in the Fasse valve and you will have to move the valve the opposite way of the load to get it to allow oil to pass through.
I usually just mount a manual valve stack where you can reach it out the window or fender. The cost is usually less too.
