Pinnacle Dc30 Plus Driver Xp Free
I have a miroVIDEO DC30+ PCI card on loan, but haven't been able to find anything clear about whether it will work in XP. With the Pinnacle buyout there seems little info on their site. My primary use for the card wound be to capture analog NTSC composite video for transfer to DVD+R opr DVD+RW. However, it might also be useful to be able to output to NTSC composite with this card. Editing software is Vegas 3.0c.
If the Miro/Pinnacle is of no use, what cards have folks had luck with. If I buy new I 'think' I would want to get something that supports both digital and analog. My machine is brand-spanking new Dell Dimension 2.0 gHz with 1.0 GB of DDR PC2100 RAM and 220 GB free HD space. (I am reserving the WD special edition 120 GB 7200 RPM ATA100 8 MB cache hard drive for video content.) Any help greatly appreciated! Wayne Munn, ASPP.

(KMM523894C0KM) Hello. Under Windows 2000, the DC30 does not capture in Premiere. It can capture normally in Miro Video Capture, however. What kind of hard drives are you using? How are they configured?
What kind of display card do you have? What IRQ is the DC30 on? How does the video look on your external television monitor? Windows XP support is as yet undecided; for the moment, there are no plans to make the DC30 compatible with Windows XP. I have a MiroDC30 Plus in my Windows XP Professional PC and it's got an explanation point in front of it in the Device Manager.so no, it's not currently working for me in WinXP Pro. But I just ran across the following at Analog Cards: Note: Vegas Video's external monitor and Print to Tape from the timeline features are not supported by analog devices; a DV device is required for these features. ATI All-In-Wonder TV tuners (128/Pro/Radeon) Hauppauge WinTV GO TV tuner Viewcast Osprey 100 Viewcast Osprey 500 DV Winnov Videum Pinnacle Miro DC-30, MJPEG (Windows 98SE and Windows Me only) Sager notebook internal, Phillips PhilDec decoder At a different PC (also on WinXP Pro), I also use the Pinnacle DV500 Plus. It has both analog and digital inputs/outputs. Thus far I am unable to capture or output via Vegas Video using the DV500 Plus. I am forced to capture with the built in Pinnacle capture software (which does also allow for direct DV control of the camera, auto-scene detection, etc.). But when it comes to outputting my final product to tape, I've been disgusted that I have to render to an AVI file and use the dreaded Adobe Premiere 6 to play it to tape (regardless of whether I output to analog or digital tape).
I have not yet figured out the solution and that's why I was in the forums. When I saw your subject line I was curious what it was about. Hope this info is some kind of help.
